Marco Guglielmino is an interdisciplinary artist drawn to color. Professionally, he gravitated toward the world of hair-care and styling. As one of the city’s leading stylists today, he has become well versed in the world of high-fashion. His innovations in color and styling expanded into visual art.

Since 2013, he has been working with neon, creating sculptures that tell stories of shape, balance and proportion – in a modern and sensual way. The chemistry behind neon is the foundation of Guglielmino’s work, a science that allows him to create unique sculptures that honor his love of color and form.

Neon is created from one of four noble gasses: Helium, Neon, Argon, and Krypton, each distinct for its illuminated color. Using this palate, he creates unique, multi-dimensional pieces of gas, colored glass, resin, and metals.

Guglielmino has exhibited with galleries, like Krause Gallery in New York City, and participated in design expositions, like TOAST Art Fair Japan, Hamptons Contemporary, and is a featured artist in the upcoming Architectural Design Show 2017.
