81 Leonard Gallery inaugurated our ongoing program PAUSE in March, 2021. In an effort to keep everyone healthy, we began exhibiting artwork in our windows on a rotating basis for covid-safe public viewing. Beginning as a reflection on the sensation of warped time and the heightened consciousness of mortality during the pandemic, PAUSE has since taken on a broader meaning. We encourage you to pause, to take a moment from your day to think about works of art that hold relevance to our lives here and now.
